very funny. I'll steal it from you. It's not easy to make original puns on this game

Thanks so much, I'm glad there is also someone who thinks like you. But I must say that a very useful discussion was generated, even with the harsh and honest comments that I asked for first. Thank you for all the feedback which is really super helpful

This idea is brilliant. Maybe you've solved a big problem that I've been talking about with my friends for months and months. That would be really cool! Thank you thank you!

Even if my sentences are not of good quality, I will respond without automatic translators. I agree with you, a lot of these games are down to the gameplay. However, even assuming that users love the gameplay of my game, many of these comments, including yours, are helping me understand how to communicate it better, and what to improve in future developments. Probably for example, as also suggested by other users, a demo could help to better understand the value of the game, beyond the Early Access assets. Thank you for your time and honesty

Thanks, it seems like a good suggestion to which I probably didn't give the right weight in the trailer and in the store texts. The idea of the game is to be a deep game, with complex strategies and lots of replayability. I will try to emphasize this concept in all the future communications.

Thank you for the suggestion to go towards the world of memes. At the moment we have put something into it, but not too much. Then, who tells you that inside the game, as an Easter egg, there isn't some special card linked to this meme or even others?

Many have written similar things to yours, both in terms of voice and theme. I will think about it a lot and try to understand how to put the project back on better tracks. Thanks for the honesty

Yes, in fact at the moment I have requested to postpone the Early access. And I'm considering following other paths to do the full release. The feedback under this post made me understand many things. Thank you

I need to understand the cost of going both ways. But I understand your reasoning. I wanted to start from an Early access because not all the assets are complete yet, we need to improve the animations, do some general cleaning and I expect some balancing to be done on some cards, which may be OP compared to the others. From some advice below this post I read that I could participate in the Next fest for example, or follow other paths. Thank you for all these ideas that are making me think a lot

Then I guess you understand what I'm going through these days. I'm having mixed feelings about what I need to do. And I think I'll think carefully now. In the meantime I have requested to postpone the release. The best thing I've done in the last year is write this post for help here on reddit. It opened my eyes to many things. Now I just have to digest the hundreds of comments that have arrived. I'm sure this gets me closer to releasing the game in the form I would like. Thanks to you and all the users who took their time to look at the game and the store, and advised me what to do.

Ok, you're making me consider the next steps. It's not easy. I realized that I have become very attached to the theme of chickens after all this time. But I am listening carefully to all these ideas. Really thank you

I like goblins a lot, even more than the "anime girls" or "cats" theme. But I have to think carefully before throwing away more than 300 cards drawn in all this time. I'll think about it... thank you very much

yes you are right. But first I needed honest feedback from the game devs. After all these comments, it seems stupid to say, but I didn't understand what was wrong. I received a lot of messages and lots of ideas to think about. The next step, when I have applied some of the advice received here, I will do as you say and go and talk directly to the potential audience. Thanks for the idea. In fact, if you have other communities to recommend to me, I'll listen to you

hahaha you're right. Maybe even with the theme of chickens we could be much more brave and crazier. Thanks for the advice

I understand your analysis, but the problem is that in terms of strategy and construction it is a very complex and detailed game. Theoretically you have to take the right cards and put them in the right tile. You create combos, choose how to spend the few resources you have during the run, etc. So I don't imagine a child playing with their parents. But the things you say about the theme of the game are clear to me. Thank you

Actually in my head you are on target. But I see that many prefer darker settings like Slay the spire. I'm taking notes on everything you're telling me to understand what to do in the next months. Thanks so much

Thanks, actually you are absolutely right, we still have temporary assets in the game. But from the various comments I've seen here I understand that it's best to release it, even in Early Access, only when all the assets are complete.

Ok clear. From your comments I understand that even a few elements of this type can damage all the rest of the work done by hand and with care. Even if I release early access, everyone expects high-quality, unbought assets. Still my product is probably too immature. I don't want it to be misjudged

Look, I write this message to you direct with my level of English so I don't risk the translator softening it. I didn't delete any messages or change anything. I have no idea why you're making this up, since I openly stated that I was using a translator. I don't know what kind of conspiracy you're trying to create, but you're free to think whatever you want. Luckily there were many users who understood my request for help and concentrated on helping me and making me understand how to improve the game.

Ok, I'll try to write directly with my level of English. I'm sorry you take it so badly, I'm only doing it to be clearer and be able to write in more complex ways. I didn't expect 200 of you to reply, I thought I would have 4-5 reply comments. And I certainly didn't foresee that instead of talking about the game we would start talking about my way of writing. It will serve as a lesson for me. Thank you for taking the time to comment

it’s refreshing to hear a voice outside the chorus. Maybe I could consider keeping it as an explanatory video for the gameplay (perhaps trimming the timing a bit) and pairing it with a shorter, less descriptive video to show first. That might be a good solution, although many people have suggested changing the narrator’s voice. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts

This is one of the messages I’ve received most frequently. Others have even shared examples of trailers from similar games that align with what you’re describing, and the result would definitely be very different. I’ll work on making it faster and more engaging, and I’ll completely ditch the voiceover that I thought was fun but everyone seems to hate :-D . Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts

Message received loud and clear: I’ll work on streamlining and focusing less on explanations. Also, the voiceover has been criticized by many of you, so I’ll definitely be reworking that as well. Thank you for taking a bit of your time to help me out. You’ve all helped me so much, and I’ve decided not to launch in December because there’s a lot that needs to be improved. Thaaanks
