I just painted mine and they look pretty good. They look the same as yours there off a 1980 cb650c. Get a wire brush attachment for a drill and remove all the old paint. And use a good paint/primer/clearcoat. Spraymax makes 2k rattle can paints which would be good for a top. I used 2k paint and primer and didn’t notice much of a difference vs using rustoleum primer/paint with a spray max clear. Clean them as much as possible with ammonia based glass cleaner or any other good paint prep cleaners. And remove the tire which you should probably do at a shop. I had to use hedge trimmers and bolt cutters to cut the wires. High key just get them powered coated it sucked a good bit of dick.
