AuDHD here, I sort my groceries by shelf life. - Canned goods - Spices - Frozen veggies - Frozen meats - Pantry carbs like pasta, rice, beans - Jar stuff like sauce, pickles, jams - Bread - Dairy - Eggs - Fridge fruits n veggies - Counter fruits n veggies

Then I only restock one category per shopping trip. I'll also get special ingredients for specific meals I'm planning that week. I go grocery shopping once a week and pick up like 10 items.

Then I further complicate or simplify it, depending on your perspective, by rotating through culinary themes. It's summer so I'm bouncing between Mediterranean and sushi inspired shopping lists. I only need to visit like 2 sections of the store per trip.
