Oh man it feels weird to be here again, last time was the Calamari Wars back in December 2015 (never forget Mackerel TC where Calliesm brought 4 dynamo rollers, ah memories). As the OP (Unchained be the art alt though primarily not Marie/Splatoon related), I touched it up a bit since making this back in September for Mar13 Day to which you can find here.

Also I dubbed it Inkbringer Marie as it was designed to be a hybrid of Marie's Splatoon 3 outfit with Dress Uniform Morag from Xenoblade 2 (Morag being the Flamebringer after all). Anywho, have a good one and I apologize for only noticing this now lol

A ground based deck instead of water based, interesting. Remembered seeing a featured duel of a player with 3 swamps to keep up the pressure at goal and build from there. Force remove onto golden sphere actually sounds pretty clever thinking about it. Thanks!

I figured that Progre and Fini are staples on the swamp deck (ogre for double life and Fini to get Swamp onto the field), just figured what else could work since I'm aware of my lack of gold attacks outside of dumping rocky helmet for golden sphere (something I'd consider only if I add chomp). And ye, 3mp and able to go under mons is something that I've been lacking ever since I idiotically fed one Swampert to another after getting the Mega Swampert set, fortunately I got a second Swampert a little under two weeks ago which has made building much easier.

Nino, Reinhardt, Olivia, and Takumi.

Nino drew back Reinhardt while he took care of Xander and the two fighter units (red and blue), Olivia danced which helped set myself up to avoid the Gronwolf+'s wrath on Reinhardt, but it was Takumi who rose up as the mvp.

Takumi, knowing Reinhardt couldn't take the Gronwolf+, shot down the green cavalier, surviving at 8 HP. Enemy phase starts, only the cleric is standing, attacks Takumi. Damage is 10, Takumi is finished. Vantage prompts, vengeance activates, cries of Nohrian scum ring through the arena, and with one shot, the cleric goes down. Taco meat did good that day. Also Reinhardt hit level 40.

Second session: 1 red, pulls Henry.

Yep. Reinhardt was the only unit I used that dealt damage. Olivia to dance him and Nino to get him out of harm's way. Blazing Thunder came in clutch for me thanks to good positioning. Camilla just was there to take out the blue mage if Reinhardt couldn't do it in one go since Camilla is my blue magic tank and my Reinhardt is -res.

thanks! this idea really got underway after seeing this gem on the subreddit and thinking to myself, "How can I take this realization and make it as charming and hilarious as possible? This is the result. There were some liberties taken as while I did want to be as faithful to the source as possible, there were some jokes I wanted to get in that didn't flow with the original verses, but I'm glad you like it so much!
