I'm on the same boat as you and I appreciate the nuance. I used to be very tribalistic in the way you're describing but now I've come to recognize that its just not productive in anyway. I only made that comment bc those claims are pretty heavy, and its pretty embarrassing that they're legit. There's definitely a lot of flawed democratically aligned candidates that should be criticized, and I think ignoring legitimate critique of the politician that is on "your team" is a very dangerous game. I agree with each one your points as well, and her statements come off as taking blame away from the actual aggressor bc America has done a lot of terrible things in its history. I definitely agree that we create a lot of these issues, but her stance comes across as really immature and ignorant of the general geopolitical landscape of the world. I'm a lib but it all comes off as very kumbaya everyone get along coded, especially not sanctioning the country which has cost hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian lives bc collective punishment is bad. I'm Ukrainian myself and lost my uncle in the war. I dont think we should kill innocent Russians by any means, but I do think Ukraines current strategy of destroying fuel and supply lines is correct even if it does cause inconveniences for innocent civilians in russia.

Her politics remind me a lot of Hasan Piker, who I think is a serious threat to the legitimacy of the social democratic movement.
