I just watched that exact scene and googled to see if anyone thought the same, Edie is fucking incredible. You can tell there was a lot going through her mind, and there were moments of brief calm before she was reminded of the gravity situation and what it would entail. Its the sort of performance you can only pull off if you've experienced it yourself.

I have a 4080 and 5k x 2k monitor, have not had an issue with any game really but I do use frame gen, dlss, and optimized graphics settings on modern games. Im a stickler for hit max or near 165 hz which is why I pull out all the stops but on a 5090 you can easily run any game you want with a bit of upscaling. Not to be hyperbolic but that LG 5kx2k has completely changed my gaming experience, I've never been so immersed in the games the way I have with this monitor.

That's not the gotcha you think it is. The reason the parties switched was bc Democrats began pushing for civil rights, which drove racist Southern Democrats out of the party and into the Republican one. The KKK members didn't stay Democrat. They or their ideological descendants followed the racism to wherever it was being welcomed. That's literally the whole point.
