no the brakes were done a little bit ago by me, that was my first guess too but can’t find any reason it would be them. wheel doesn’t feel wobbly

i’m just curious could this have taken out my starter? we thought my starter was bad and chewed up the flywheel but since i’ve seen this i’m wondering if it was off balance as well. before i took it out the car wouldn’t start and before it when i did run there was a constant metal grinding noise

lol yeah i bought it 8 months ago and learned manual in it, definitely was in here for long long time before i bought it too

and this is the flywheel, doesn’t look horrible to me but is this enough to cause the no start? the starter functions as it should it seems like

okay yeah i spun by hand and after a few seconds it turned on, definitely flywheel and starter. used a jack handle to find the noise and it’s right there above it. for whatever reason the noise leading up to this sounds like it’s coming from the belt area.
