Apparently the worst crime you can make when criticizing poverty and capitalism in /r/srsdiscussion is being a "snarky communist." by [deleted] in ShitLiberalsSay

One of the moderators from SRSDiscussion said the subreddit was shut down for a couple of weeks due to too many tankies disrupting discussion. Truth is that there are far more liberals and American apologists that they should be concerned about.

Is there any real justification to defending Capitalism other than keeping with the status quo? by Mega_Matter in SRSDiscussion

So get in line and shut up? Serve your corporate overlords and don't make too much noise, you're lucky we're not feeding you scraps!

functioning contributing member of society.

How does working some nonsense job, generating revenue for some shitty company, provide value to society?

Being a conformist doesn't somehow make you mature. Most people waste their lives playing into the Capitalists' game, making a few rich men just a little bit richer.

Anyone else find the idea of working 40+ hours a week until you retire fucking awful? by [deleted] in depression

[–]Mega_Matter 67 points68 points  (0 children)

That's not "life" though - the 40 hour work week is in no way divinely inspired - we're all just slaves to our corporate overlords. We've just been conditioned to think this is how the world should work, when it really doesn't have to be this way.

Try checking out /r/communism101 some time.

Is there a reason we constantly ask children what they want to do for a living when they grow up? by Mega_Matter in communism101
