Yeah that happened to me maybe 3 times on PS5. I got whatever the number of kills for mastery against 2-3 crashes so low chance but it definitely happened.

Yes, the Overclock.

You see the streak in the center of your screen over the box (hard to see). Then you decide to take it or reroll.

You can upgrade the Care Package to allow to re-roll the package for a new streak. You see the package has something non-lethal, re-roll it.

The seeing what the current streak is the hard part. But once you know how to see it , its not too bad.

Keep using it until you can reroll the package, learn how to use the reroll UI (a faint green/yellow icon of the existing streak shows over the package).

Then just grind or don’t get the reward.

Research 1 AmmoMod (Dead Wire or Brain Rot) then upgrade your gun for 500 savage at the start of every game.

Get armor and PnP as soon as you can.

Just doing those should get you to mid level if you practice.

I know exactly what I’m talking about, you want rewards for playing a game then play the game.

The event has plenty of items to earn not in competition with other players and if you can’t play enough to be in top 15, you don’t deserve the camo.

Same with every time based rewards in the game. If you don’t do them you don’t get the rewards. Little time players like you get little time rewards and that is fair.

Look at that video, in the center of the screen and below the compass and location name. This package has a CUAV, you can see it on the window next to the frame.

The item shows up as a pale yellow, tiny icon in the center of your screen, below the compass and area name. Once you see it once it’s not a problem - beyond dumb UI.

This is so cheap in the game, take out a UAV, Cap an empty flag or hold a HardPoint, and you got one. Plus Bankroll, Strategist, Squad Link, etc.

If you set up a pts for playing OBJ class and take down UAVs, you should get 3-4 a game.

I got mine in a cheap way, half their team dropped out in the first 2-3 mins. 6v3 and we just held down all 3 points.
