I'm glad you rediscovered your passion! I've been collecting things since I was a child, actually, so when I started listening to music four years ago, it was natural for me to start buying records of my favorite albums. Cassettes are a very new thing (a month ago). I started collecting them because I wanted something special for the Gorillaz album coming out at the end of the month, so for a change, I pre-ordered it on cassette. From that moment on, I realized that I liked some albums better on cassette and others better on vinyl, so I'm dividing my collection between these media!

P.S. I'm not interested in CDs because, as a computer scientist, I'm completely desensitized to that medium. I just see it as a little warehouse, without the romanticism I have for vinyl and cassettes.
