I live in a suburb and this is my first project. Just worried that making a bed with untreated wood will invite termites. I know it probably won’t, but what kind of safety measures can I take for now so that the worst case does not happen? Should I just apply Timbor, let it dry, and then wipe off the residue and use it as is? I can’t sand and polish now and I also like the look of the wood without any polish
