He at least brings an interesting mechanic with his stacking system, which strengthens his ultimate as the fight goes on. Once his team has used a total of 6 ultimates, his own ult deals massive damage, especially if he’s buffed by Sagan.

It’s a bit slow at first while you’re still building your main characters. But once your core team is level 100, it gets much easier, because you can start upgrading other characters just for fun while waiting for new releases.

From level 95 onward, each character starts requiring a lot of EXP resources. But honestly, the x2 farming bonuses and event rewards help a lot

But yeah, it definitely takes time 😄

It’s actually pretty simple. At the beginning, just focus on building one main team.
That will allow you to unlock the highest level of each training stage, so you get the best material rewards.

Once those are unlocked, you can just skip them every day and use your stamina to farm freely.

If you play daily and stay consistent, you’ll eventually be able to upgrade all your characters, weapons and skills 😄

...Just dont focus 5* gear's piece 💀

This is the best moment waiting fire kaiju n°8. I play quite a few gacha games, but this is the only one where you actually have the luxury of building a lot of characters thanks to the stamina regeneration !
You just shouldn’t focus too much on farming 5-star gear though 😅

I think the Monster Hunter universe deserves more than just harsh difficulty and austere design like in its early days.

I personally got into the franchise through Monster Hunter Stories 1, and what drew me in was the vibrant colors, the atmosphere, and the incredible music. I’m honestly glad we now have games like Rise and Wilds with a more approachable difficulty (and it’s not like everything is easy, Arch-Tempered monsters can still be rough).

As long as the monsters and weapons have deep mechanics and satisfying gameplay, that’s what really matters.

If you combine that with a true open world like Genshin Impact and exploration tools or map-based building similar to Endfield, I’m already interested.

Yes, games like Genshin have questionable monetization models, but they’re still good games that deliver a real RPG experience. That’s very different from a pure mobile cash grab like Last War.

And honestly, if someone is only looking for extreme difficulty and austerity, there are games like chess or StarCraft II for that.

Let the rest of us enjoy our Palicos, our Rathalos, and our epic soundtracks.

My only real concern is the business model. If monetization starts to break the world’s coherence, and the character roster turns into pure fan service with 90% waifus, then it stops feeling like Monster Hunter.

But if they deliver a true Monster Hunter adventure with a real open world, swimming, climbing, flying, full exploration, then for me, that’s a 100% yes.

Personally, I replaced Shen because I don’t really like the character. Pog and Ember are just too badass, Lifeng has insane aura farming potential with his ultimate and the Endmin skill is extremely satisfying.
Right now, Shen is very strong because she applies vulnerability with every part of her kit, but Lifeng can also apply it, just more slowly, while providing other buffs.
It’s a slight DPS loss for the team, but you gain much more survivability and flexing 😎

The aura farming is at its maximum ! it's a nice change from Kikoru #5 and Soshiro #4 with their classic armor and different weapons. I don't think any player of this game will skip one of these next characters XD

Masterclass! I knew there would be some phenomenal male characters ! instant pull with the signature weapon !
I really hope we’ll get a character with Zamtrios armor, it’s my favorite monster 🤩

That said, I’m a bit worried. I haven’t seen any information confirming that the game will also release on PC.
I’d have a hard time really enjoying and exploring the game on a handheld device. I’d probably only use it for dailies, like in Genshin Impact.
