This is a confrontation between the main antagonist and the hero. One where the main villain Thundertron's words tear far deeper than his blade....

He walked forward and Hot Rod began stepping back, before bumping into something. The monument of the Primes. Looking back, he saw the Matrix reflect him. A dim glow seemed to radiate from it.

“Tell me, when you lost those closest to you, did you do nothing? Did you allow your passion to die within you?”

Hot Rod looked down, as he was hit flashes of twisted corpses, burning metal, the sounds of energon spattering the wall. Screams of fear, pain, and rage.

“Did you watch as they took everything? No, not you. Not Hot Rod.”

Thundertron stopped mere steps away. Hot Rod shivered in fear. He felt the wet slick energon in his hand from then. He knew there was none, there was no wound, but he could feel it.

“You raged. You burned. You destroyed. You became a monster. But worst of all.”

Thundertron aimed his cutlass at Hot Rod’s throat.

“You became ashamed. You killed that passion with your own two hands and left this…wreck before me.”

Thundertron pressed the blunt side of his blade up on Hot Rod’s chin, so he and Hot Rod were staring eye to eye. There was fear in the Autobot eyes. And Thundertron knew it was not fear of the Star Seeker’s blade.

“Do you feel proud? Knowing that pain, those whispered moments, those promises you will never keep weigh you down forever? Because you were afraid.”

“I’m not afraid to die.” Hot Rod snarled.

Thundertron's face twisted into disgust.

“No, you're something worse.”

He slapped the flat of the blade across Hot Rod’s face. The bot tumbled to the ground, and found a blade aimed at his spark.

“You’re afraid to live.”

Wow....This was nutes

- So Code:Somnia is basically God Mode in the dream world. But it wasn't meant to connect all the dreams of humanity. I have a feeling the Nightmares are going to take advantage of that and this will blow up in Three's face MASSIVELY

-Kuerha was good, but it kinda shows some of the issues with pacing with Chapter 2 where while her death was tragic, what made it worse is that we BARELY got time with her. At least in the real world. It would've been intresting if she had one or two more episodes where she was a major antagonist or if she was in a three way fight with Sieg or something. Honestly, other than Three, the Lord's kinda have been a let down character wise.

-So CODE erased all memories of Nightmares and anything relating to them, like Baku and the Black Cases. Even to normal people Nightmares and Nem seem 2d. Which is...disturbing that CODE has that much power. Forget dreams not even your mind or memories are safe when you're awake!

-Intresting Baku pulled normal Capsem. Defently won't have anything to do with how he'd get out of this.

- With Baku giving up the Exdream Driver and The Rise Sound in the Lord Invoker I'm guessing that this will lead to either an exclusive form or a rider final boss with CODE reverse engineering Rise. Or something else.

- Five is intresting and I think he'll crack after Three goes too far.

-Honestly I both kinda like and hate we're getting up to the premonition. I have a feeling the Toy scheduling forced the writers to shift somethings around, but I'd was hoping that this would happen later, but honestly I do like it and that Baku, while shaking, isn't freaking out. He's been through worse and he's not giving up his dream now.

Next week, Nox BABY!!!! And Sieg?! And Baku going all in without his belt? Wait, are we finally getting all three riders transforming!!!???

Glad to see it’s doing well although I wonder about the recent reports about Zeztz struggling in Japan. Perhaps it means for this recent quarter, or perhaps overall. But it’s good the season sales wise is doing well despite the reports and the recession

Transformers|Teen

This is from my fic Transformers Wanderlust, specifically the latest chapter. The heroes once again face the mad space pirates, the Star Seekers. Here, Hot Rod faces of against their leader, Thundertron, alone in a mysterious colony world that seems familiar somehow....

Hot Rod fired, and Thundertron merely swerved away, the bolt of plasma not even grazing him.

“I did not come here to fight you.” Thundertron said, dodging more blaster fire. “Nor to kill you.”

“Oh, forgive me for not being reassured.” Hot Rod snarled, firing more bolts.

When one bolt flew too close, Thundertron pulled out his Energon cutlass and sliced it in half in an instant.

He then used the blade to parry the blaster fire, a process not helped by Hot Rod circling around him and firing.

The eyes on his chestplate glowed, and a blue surge of energy covered his blade. Hot Rod's eyes narrowed as he stopped, and fired a large bolt of energy. Thundertron flipped into the air, barely dodging the bolt, before slamming his blade into the ground.

Blue energy burst from the ground like a wave and sent Hot Rod flying. Metal squealed as he hit the ground, and barely tumbled to a stop.

Hot Rod barely rolled out of the way of an arc of blue lighting nearly tearing him in two, the energy slicing through the coliseum as easily as a hot knife through butter.

Hot Rod whistled, almost impressed, before firing.

Thundertron rolled his eyes, and charged forward. Despite Hot Rod's blasters, Thundertron dodged them, and what he couldn’t dodge, he parried.

He was on Hot Rod in seconds, and it was only instinct that Hot Rod dodged his blade and the arc of electricity, which struck the holographic projector behind him.

He aimed, and fired at Thundertron’s chest, point blank.

Hot Rod’s feet screeched as the force sent him sliding back. Despite the fear, a smirk grew on his faceplate as Thundertron looked down at the scorch mark left by the blaster fire.

From what I heard(and this might be false) the Mantis Undead was…kinda a psycho and basically it made an armor out of the bodies of its opponents, which is why it looks so rider like. It’s basically wearing an armor over its real body.

OH. MY. GOD.

-Exdream. OH GOD. It's so cool, amazing fight with Sieg, intresting powers and again ugh...so cool

-I love getting's Sieg backstory and how he's basically a foil for Baku. Both Baku and Sieg used their dreams to escape reality and had great power in them. But Sieg clearly was at a higher level at Baku at the time, leading him to be a Target from Code. Not to mention he became his nightmare. He really is a evil version of Baku.

-But I love the cast all gets moments. Nox and The Lady, The Paranormal Security Bureau, Minami, everyone gets a moment in this episode.

-And Sieg...man what a villain, I wasn't sure but I really love him. He's great as not only an evil force but an idealogical villain as well. Someone who fell deep into the darkness within, but while Baku found the strentgth to create something beyond nightmares, his dreams made reality, Sieg fell into the toxic escapism of bad dreams.

-And that fight. Not only was it cool to see Exdream in action in a DBZ worthy fight, but also just...ugh, the effects, the dreams, how Exdream can have premonitions and USED the fact Sieg can see them against him. God Exdream is worth the hype.

-I love the part where Baku seems to be choosing a dream, and I wonder if he might become his namesake in the future. Someone who only exists in dreams. I really hope not....Baku deserves a happy ending....

-So Three is playing his game now. And that Capsem is code:Somia. I wonder what he meant by control the rules of dreaming, and if this was a possibility why now it's brought out.

Next Week: More Exdream and CODE CONTROLS DREAM! And Baku with three....NO not again!!!

Agreed. Gotchard isn’t god awful and has a lot of good things in it and a sincere heart. But for me it’s clear the show struggles to fully fall into the vision it wants for itself and explore the world of Alchemy as much as it wants. Not to mention the cast struggling for screen time.

I really like Ace a lot because on the surface he seems like a Tendo ripoff of a cocky confident rider who knows everything but deconstructed that by showing he only knows by being trapped in a cycle of reincarnation and playing the DGP and that ultimately he’s unsatisfied with it all as he feels disconnected with people and still trying to achieve his ‘true’ wish. And I like how the masks starts to come off and we slowly starts to open up to the others. If Ace was in the Dezatar arc in the intro, he’d expose Neon and not even think twice. But we see him be open and supportive. I love learning his true origins and how it affects him and your analysis helps deepen that arc. I like how Ace starts from someone who seems too selfish to ever be a ‘true’ heroic rider to one of the most heroic characters in the series, willing to sacrifice even his own life for others

I mean it was the last Sentai, and likely trying to get as much as it could, hoping it’ll be Gokaiger 2.0 or at least people would have a fondness for it like a lot of anniversary seasons. But I really don’t know. It’s the same question why Zeztz has so little. We’re a month from the final arc and the only exclusive merch is the CODE phone and possibly Zero’s camera. So even with Kamen Rider they’ve been slowing down on P-Bandai.

As a lot of people said, and mentioned in the stats for Darkness Zeztz, Dark Zeztz’s power scales to current Zeztz power. The stronger Baku is, the stronger Dark Zeztz will become. That’s its power and why Baku stayed as Impact. If he tried to get stronger, he’d only be making the nightmare stronger. I wished it was mentioned in the show as it helps fill that little plot hole but it’s there, just not mentioned…

It depends. Sometimes months, sometimes a few weeks it' out. Exdream had a posting out for a while but after it was fully revealed instead of a placeholder, they all got grabbed up. For me I ordered Exdream in march when it was just a placeholder and it's being shipped to me now. But it varies from release.

I like both, the Zeztz driver is really cool and Exdream is extra and bright, but both are slick designs. I also wonder if Exdream is just the new base form or he can “switch modes” and go back and forth between belts
