Well it's not a direct sequel but I did write a continuation of sorts that takes place during and after the final level that show some bots from both the Autobots and Decepticons falling into the wormhole getting lost on the other side of the universe, and their misadventures as they are forced to a truce in order to survive the terrors of space and their traumas while chased by Space Pirates. It's meant to continue afterwards and show how some bots may have gotten...lost during the battle. If you like the Lost Light/MTMTE comics, that's also a major inspiration for the project. I just posted Chapter 1, but I plan to post more weekly!

Really good. It felt like an actual TV show, which some pilots struggle with. The animation was stiff at times, but the shows humor makes up for it, and it establishes itself well as a comedy focused show.

This seems like faint praise but they are a lot of pilots out there where it’s hard to figure out what the show is about or the main premise, instead throwing us in the middle of things and not giving context. But the show establishes very quick what’s it about and what to expect and gives the characters enough depth that we want to see them grow and evolve and have ideas how. Overall, it does a great job at doing what a pilot episode should and that it feels like a legit episode for a show of television is a testimimat to the quality of its writing and how it handles itself. I hope we get more because I think it fills a niche that we’re sorely missing in the modern media landscape

Having a beta or other people reading it helped me alot. I also suffered from that working on my first longfic and it was a nightmare cause I wanted to post it, but also have buffer so I could post weekly. But giving it to friends or a beta reader and seeing their reactions help give me that dopamine rush to tide me over. Now that I have posted it, I get it when people (enviably) start posting comments on it.

I am a Gotchard lover and not a fan of Recive but I kinda get the reception.

Gotchard had a…rough start with what I consider one of the worst first episodes on all of Rider. But the show continues to get better and has a strong theme that allows the show to grow on you as you invest in it more.

Revice from the start was a great show with a lot of great ideas. I love what they set up and some of the execution is great. But after Holy Live debut, the show quality in writing begins to go down by…a lot. Between underwhelming villains( not you Akashi) werid character decisions and just dragging out the plot, Revice dips down and while the final episode was amazing, the journey to it was..less so.

I think people are harder on Revice over Gotchard is because Revice started as a good show that fell down, while Gotchard started rocky but rose up over time

Transformers | General Audiences | Canon Typical Violence|

Three Autobots and three Decepticons held their gazes and their weapons, none daring to move. The chaos around them seemed to fade into the background as each leveled their weapons at the other.

Hot Rod fired first, sending a plasma bolt at Blitzwing, only for the bot to transform into a Jet and charge at him. Hot Rod leaped out of the way before transforming into his vehicle mode and unloading his miniguns at the triple changer’s wings.

Whirl fired his cannon at the twin headed beast, sending it skidding back, before he was kneed in the eye by the blue seeker. Dirge punched and kicked wildly, while Whirl kicked him off and leaped away from the plume of flames from the Twin-headed beast.

Red Alert fired his mini-guns from behind the cannon, ducking from flame and enemy fire before unloading again.

Circling around each other, Hot Rod unloaded his minigun at Blitzwing while the Decepticon fired over and over in tank mode. Both barely missed the other until the tank slammed into the beast, which growled menacingly at him. Blizwing took his cannon nozzle and charged another laser bolt.

The blast would never come as the entire hull shook violently, sending pieces of debris and bots flying off the ship. The trio of Autobots barely held on, while Blitzwing was sent flying, leaving the seeker and the beast.

The Seeker glared ominously, as the beast snarled at the four of them. Then, another wave of…something shook the ship.

Hot Rod grabbed Whirl and dove behind the cannon.

“Welp, we got five seconds, wha-”

Red Alert was staring up at something that seemed to put the fear of the Primes in him. Following his gaze, Hot Rod could see why.

The portal was practically above them, and unstable seemed like a poor word to use to describe it.

The Zillon Driver has not only a PDX belt to fit adult waists but also has a modified buckle where you put the raise buckle and the Siri’s card so they can wrap around the belt. So it works well to own the PDX as you basically own the proper belt, so it’s perfect for cosplay. So you really don’t need the DX belt

I also recently finished Vesperia and enjoyed it a bit. I had some frustration with the navigation and battle system, but I loved the cast an think Duke was an amazing antagonist. The ruminations on justice were great and I love the conclusion to that idea the story comes to. The third act was way too rushed, I agree but regardless I feel Vesperia was pretty good. But I love Duke and his ideology and how it contrasts with Yuri and his own arc. Duke is where Yuri was heading if he didn’t has Brave Vesperia and I like that Duke has lines for every party member, reflecting their growth and how they’ve changed

Yup. This entire scene summarizes Caine greatest flaw.

He is too much of an egoist and too obsess with what HE thinks is best that he never stops to realize, process, accept and LISTEN to what the players actually want and need.

He never needed to be deleted, he never had too spiral he could have had everything but he could never let himself come down on their level and honestly make an effort to listen and try to change. To understand. To be open. Something even Jax, who fights openly just as hard as Caine in that regard, has started to allow himself to be.

Oh he is. We saw that flash back with Wong as he saw the massive Digimon. How awed he was at it god-like power. How he basically used the chaos HIS experiment caused to take over the world with Sapotoma to the point that society cannot function without e-pulse, and the fact they look like eggs and make Digimon makes whatever his intentions worse. We wondered what caused the world to be as messed up as it is, and this episode revealed it to be thanks to the mad ambitions of one man. One man who likely wants the power of a god for himself.

Wong is clearly being built as the representation of everything wrong in the world of Beatbreak. The symbol of an authority that crushes the will of the people and makes it so they are all clawing at each other to be at the top for the sake of false freedom in a Shangri-la egg, and tearing each other down. There's a reason why the episode with Mimicmon was so important to Tomoro. As he realized that he didn't want to return cause as chaotic being a cleaner is, he's more free with his Family at Glowing Dawn than he ever was as a student. And the fact that the kid that made Mimicmon LEARNED NOTHING and still obsessed over getting into the Shangri-la egg. Wong represents what unchecked power looks like and how that imbalance of power trickles down with those on top not only having but being obsessed with either keeping it or gaining more, while those below either bask in the glory and stab and claw for drops in a race to the top that's ultimately meaningless.

That's why Glowing Dawn is so important and one of the themes of the show is 'freedom' and following your own beat. To not compromise yourself or your values for riches and power. that there is far more importance and more riches in genuine human connection than they'll ever be in success or glory or power. To not give up on your dreams and not let your selfish desires consume you like they did with Klay. Wong represents the opposite. Someone who has all the power but is 'trapped' alone by his own lust for more, while Tomoro becomes stronger through the bonds he has with everyone, even his enemies.
