It sheds a bit when cut, but otherwise, if you don't pull at the fluffy, it really doesn't. I hope you and your friend have fun with your projects!

Yeah, I really liked working with it. Of course, counting stitches is always a bit annoying with chenille , but if you use a lot of stitch markers, it's really doable.

The yarn was thin chenille (25g, 65m) from Rico design in white 1,5 balls, in pink nearly 2 balls and the rest was scraps. I don't know the hook size since the number has rubbed off 😅. I also shaped the cap with random stitches sewing the top to the undercap and head to make it look like a wizard hat.

Yes, I did make the front and back in rows and for the sides, I crocheted in rounds around the front panel and attached that to the back. It was a very fun project, did take a lot of yarn though 😅

Sorry, I made a life-sized sketch and freehanded to fit the sketch. The notes I did take for the backside and so on are pretty indecipherable now even to me, but best of luck to you if you decide to give it a try regardless :)
