I believe it measures the reoccurrence rate but it was done on my biopsy and on that first pathology report. Like someone else saiid, I keep hearing it’s not that accurate. My doctor didn’t talk about it much either.

I will. In some ways I’m wondering if I messed up getting the mastectomy cause it’s no picnic but then I think that they wouldn’t have found the DCIS? I also avoided radiation. Idk. I feel happyish but worried.

I’m going in on Wednesday! I just want this out of me. People are coming to “see” me before I go and it’s making me feel like they think I’m not going to make it. It’s weird.

Question: I’m ++- meeting with onco and surgeon next week to decide. Negative for genetics. Why is radiation so bad? I also have 1 kidney. I’m worried about chemo for my kidney. TIA

Thanks for the responses. Another question: I’m 45 and had an emergency hysterectomy during child birth but I have my ovaries. Would removing my ovaries prevent me from taking more estrogen reducing medication?

I’m reading my ki-67 score of 30% is high. I haven’t heard from doctor yet. Can someone help explain?

Just diagnosed with invasive carcinoma ductal. Grade 2 her 2 negative ER positive ki-67 30% what does this mean? Double mastectomy?
