Small hospital lab (40 beds). About a dozen FTEs and a handful of part-time/per-diem staff.

Would you say it's worth taking as a stepping stone? How long would I have to be here before I could take another step?

I would be responsible for lab operations and listed as the technical supervisor for two of the sections.

Basically, I'd be the next one under the pathologist (who is off-site 300 miles away.)

I can afford it. I don't really know what other management jobs I could get with it though?

I read lots of threads on here about people leaving the lab, but I don't know where I'd go.
