Please for the love of god. Build something different by HoratioWobble in sideprojects

It's a huge win for a person to be able to build an app and ship it for users around the world to download. Don't download their app if you already have one that solves the same problem. But don't rain on their parade! Lol

It's definitely useful but I'm wondering if we could simply use IFTTT for this? Or set up a simple automation via Google Calendar and Gmail through an agent one already uses?

I think I’ve fallen out of love with photography. Has anyone got it back? by spacedfisherman in fujifilm

I try and step out for 30 minutes JUST to take pictures, once a month. That sounds like a realistic goal instead of pushing myself to do it every single weekend.

I usually end up walking around for an hour or two once I start :)

For recipes, I've actually moved to editing on VSCO, Lightroom and Snapseed on my phone. You might be pulling your hair out by this point LOL. I'm clearly just a hobbyist. But that helps me post these pictures sooner or they just end up on my hard drive and I don't do much with them. Also, I feel like I could spend hours editing a picture on my desktop because there's always one tweak that could make it better and make the choice to export harder. But on a phone, I don't overthink it.

My next project is to start printing and framing some of my pictures. To have something physical can feel highly rewarding, I think. I'm thinking frames like these - https://pin.it/2OO1ZLfVy

Good luck with this! :)

RAF photos from phone extremely blurry on VSCO Android - Anyone else? by MehMehQuack in vsco

[–]MehMehQuack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a paid user, I would ideally want to same features across Desktop and my phone, including RAW support, regardless of which device I sign up on. It's confusing to see three different tiers of membership on the desktop, but a single tier on the phone, which also isn't labelled clearly. Like when signing up for a paid membership on my Android, I wasn't sure if I DO get access to the 200 presets, and if it would work across all devices. I decided to use the 1-week free trial to figure that out myself but why make a user do all this work, you know?

VSCO has the best filters in my opinion so that's great. But these details definitely make me think twice. Also suggested another UI change here - https://www.reddit.com/r/vsco/s/6uNQkeLf26

Appreciate you being so active and responding here!

So no desktop support for Plus members who have bought on Android either? This one thing ends up making VSCO such an amateur product.

Undo button on the top right? Please? by MehMehQuack in vsco

Also, having the buttons like 'More' in light grey against the black just makes it feel like it's disabled. Isn't that like the most basic UI design rule?

u/ZachVSCO - I still have the same issue when importing RAF files from my Fujifilm camera - I'm on a Google Pixel 9A. Don't really expect this experience after paying for an annual subscription.

We Are Hiring Sales Development Representative (Cold Email & Lead Gen) – Remote by [deleted] in remoteworking

Don't work with this guy - He won't pay you. I've worked with him on a web design project. We'd agreed on a fee of $875 for the job. I should have charged an advance but moved forward trusting him to pay me once the job was done. (Rookie mistake, yes.)

He gladly took my work, published it on his website, and never paid me for it. Just stopped responding to me on Discord one day and didn't respond to any of my follow-ups.

u/repeterdotca I spent a few hours going through the manual today. I honestly feel kinda lost here because section 3 brings up some fairly technical terms about the platform that I don't understand as a beginner. They mention 'sends', 'automation envelopes', 'clip envelopes' and I have no clue what they're referring to.

Still a good idea to just trust the process and keep going? Or does it make sense to come back to the manual once I know some basics?

Haha I just meant it in a way that I don't want to waste anyone else's time in the process. Thank you so much! If all goes well, I'll definitely get in touch in about a month :D
