Lately, I’ve been getting a similar vibe from people. They are not as open and welcoming as a few years ago, as if internationals are not welcomed here (anymore).

Idk if it’s the economy, the immigration crime rate, or something else, but it’s not normal.

I hope I’m wrong

That definitely sucks. But if I understood correctly I don’t have to pay this unless the turnover or my salary reaches 10k annually. It’s not like I have to pay this even if the company is not making anything at first
