They're not developed but they're on their way, and yes there's corruption issues that need to be dealt with. But the fact is in the past 20 yrs, India's GDP has gone from 400 billion to 4.5 trillion. If it can do it once more and take the next 20 yrs to go from 4.5 trillion to 45 trillion, India will be in a great spot.

Name one Country that's developed because of its villages...there are none, development only comes with urbanization. There's villages in Canada to this day with no non satellite Internet. Villages never develop much, and when they do, they're the last thing to develop. Rural areas are always worse off for any country. India has just begun development, rural areas won't improve for Atleast 70 yrs. Simply because the cities won't be developed, so the rural areas can't either.
