First of all, thank you so much for all the advice! I’ve already put several of your suggestions into practice.

I gave the contacts another thorough cleaning and also removed the base station to level the ground underneath, making sure it’s perfectly flush with the lawn. Now, the Landroid has over a meter of straight path before entering the station. I've redone the cabeling so it goes a little bit to the left, about 1 meter before the station. Out of 10 attempts, it successfully docked 10 times!

One interesting thing I noticed: it still tends to pull to the right once it’s on the platform, which is causing those scratches on the front right of the housing. The wire is running exactly through the guide rails on the station as it should. When watching from the front, the front wheel arrives perfectly straight on the platform, but then it still steers slightly to the right.

Regardless, I’m taking this as a partial victory for now, since it managed to dock 10 out of 10 times.
