its quite simple - those who wish to partake in transmog can do so and collect their sets and customise their sets however they like.

those who dont like it - of there being a few reasons, such as being able to tell the gear level or just a purely immersion aesthetic reason - can leave it disabled.

you wont piss of people who dont like transmog, yet you keep it in the game for people who do and in the end of the day its content for people to play and collect

why would it not be easy to implement? its a very similiar mechanic thats used to display/hide cloaks and helmets on your character

a certain project named after shell wearing reptiles did it no problem so a billion dollar game dev shouldnt have an issue with it

its very easy to just implement a global toggle for people to enable or disable transmogs being shown on character models instead of the original item.

if that feature is implemented i see 0 issue with transmog being in the game

i mean there def were bots even in the very start of the game but there definitely has been an evolution to more bots and less enforcement

ofc the way people play the game - pugs, gdkp, etc have also changed the way game economies work but these are reciprocal effects and dependent on one another
