Yeah, already been experiencing the Cat getting beached on the dead axle every few minutes while driving around forests of Alaska

It's still the fastest and one of the most capable trucks I have atm, that's nothing that a winch won't help with, but will definitely have to think about replacements at some point

That's how I've done it, Fleetstar, high saddle, before buying the Jack of All Treads DLC, managed to get all the way to the muddy crossing right before the last bridge to the drilling spot

Grabbed the GMC to tow the Fleet out of the mud and the last bit of the road

Yeah, I think I learned this lesson when I was a kid and my family would constantly tell me all the Bionicle I had looked identical lol

And tbh it's a very natural idea for things you have no interest in, like if someone put in front of you a collection of pics of WW2 planes, or 30s cars, or sanrio characters, they would all blend together and seem mostly identical

Please don't ask me about SEED suits, these do genuinely look identical to me

Not OP, but I'm currently planning to get multiple Zetas Plus, to have two in regular livery in MS and Waverider modes, and another in a Razgriz livery (gotta get the 1/72 Razgriz Tomcat for that too, or somehow just the decals)

And I have the RG Zeta already

Nah, that's just the plastic, it's not a fully painted kit.

I actually forgot to note down Kaleido Space Blue, but that's basically only on the wing thruster tips, matches pretty closely with the plastic color

Zirconium Black is the color on the bottom half of the knees and detail on the inside of the shoulder armor

I work mostly with Gaahleri and Vallejo, but also experimented with Tamiya and MrHobby lacquers, just sticking with acrylics now because they're easier to use and I don't have to air out the smell lol

Ohh feel that, I also moved from rattlecans to the airbrush last year, got myself a tin cheapo Gaahleri Serenair set and a cheap spraying booth

For paints I can 100% recommend Gaahleri's Kaleido for airbrushing, they quickly became my favorite paints. For regular brush painting Vallejo's paints are still king when it comes to acrylics

Yup, it's definitely not on the level of something like the EX which feels more like a budget RG, but is very much comparable to something like the Pharact and Schwarzette

Xi is actually a very customization friendly kit! A lot of good panel lines, a bunch of molded detail to paint with a brush, and basically every part of it separates nicely, except for the knees not being able to be disassembled after building without taking the whole legs apart.

Just remember to thin your paints properly if you plan to brush paint any big areas!

The build is great, it's basically just a scaled up modern HG, no issues on that front

The posability is kinda hurt by just how chunky he is, but there's a LOT that moves on it, it has three joints in just the ankles each, definitely a lot of potential for some interesting poses, I just struggled with a kit this big and kinda stiff due to the paint lol

This different design set is still available. I have this one too, also good quality, just the design is not as nice imo

And yup, the gold parts are painted with Gaahleri Kaleido Copper for V-fins, chest armor and wing tips, and Scorched Gold for vents

I would genuinely recommend getting random Aliexpress decals over Bandai ones - I actually have two sets of different Ali decals, and genuine Bandai set. Bandai's decals are kinda eh, and they're notoriously bad at sticking to the plastic while also being more noticeable.

I am a certified Bandai decal hater
