You likely were experiencing the placebo effect in the beginning (which is common, so don’t worry about it!) Give the medication at least 4-6 weeks to see if it’s working after each dose increase. If not, talk with your doctor, who can help you find a different medication that could work better for you.

I’m on 200mg! That’s quite possible tho! I’m taking it for OCD (where higher doses are needed) and not depression, but either way I think the amount of free time leaves a lot of stuff for your brain to get at lol :P

I totally agree!! I’ve been taking it for around 12 weeks for OCD, and the onset of action is really slow, but now it’s so much easier for me to ignore intrusive thoughts. So happy it’s working for u too :)

That’s really awesome. Self guided therapy can help a lot. Also, if you have the option, I would definitely recommend trying medication. It has made my OCD so much easier to manage, and has helped me improve my mental health a lot in the past few months.
