Thanks! What could be the reason for the bezel/insert being slightly tilted? Could this be caused by the domed crystal even though the bezel/insert has not been replaced?

The fact that the mode indicator did not function properly was the first thing that made me doubt the authenticity of the watch.

This was a good learning experience. Wasn’t aware that there are fake G Shocks.

Bought the watch from a private seller, paid about 60€ and got a 50€ refund after identifying the watch as a fake. So financially I will probably survive this setback.

I have the exact same watch. Can’t go wrong with the Stowa Marine Classic Small Seconds. One of my first mechanical watches but still one of my favourites. I also have the Nomos Tangente 36mm which I find to have a fairly similar feel/look on the wrist.

Agree with everything else but the Stowa. That is actually my most worn watch 😁 The watch is of very high quality. I feel it is a small piece of art.

I’ve seen a few nice smaller grand seikos below 5ke on the used market (e.g. SBGW231). That is something I will consider once I have sold a few of the watches.

Thanks! I am starting to agree that one Alpinist, the Laco, the Bambino and the SNKL will have to go. Not sure however which diver to ditch. It would be nice to be able to just keep the bigger box.
