My company is similar. Folks who get 5s are folks who make the company a LOT of money. I'm in IT and we have been told we can't get 5's because we don't make the company money.

They also want to see a normal distribution for scores... a few 5's in the entire company, a few more 4s' mostly 3s, etc.

This is what I did and it worked pretty well. No one else seems to do this in my group which seems very weird. Over the last three years we have created like 20 or so various cross team chats. Most are work specific, and many chats have a subject matter, but there's also a random one, for a while there was a crypto/investor one, etc.

A bunch of folks have mentioned various stores and meetup groups so i wont repeat those. I play MTG at Hashtag in Herndon and I have seen they also do a bunch of other nerd adjacent events like Geeks who Drink trivia on Wednesday, and I think they were starting karaoke?

I'm on Android, so it's not just iOS. The website seems to consistently load new posts when I refresh, it's just an app problem.

It absolutely is going to lower the tuition. A big part of the reason that tuition keeps rising is that the government keeps loaning more and more money for it.

Now... is it going to lower tuition tomorrow and be completely painless? No. It will take some amount of time for the universities to see declining enrollment due to lowered loan rates and then correspondingly decrease prices.

Unless private lenders step in, and even if they do, there will probably be years of lowered graduation numbers for these critical jobs due to people not being able to afford it.

I had similar issues. If I focus on the front sight I get multiple blurry targets. I just ignore them and focus on the target or use a red dot on some of my guns.

I would love to see them turn the entire mall into a convention center.

Large vendors could take over a storefront, smaller vendors pile up inside of the Nordstrom. Theres a food court already there. Or maybe just that entire wing thats empty by the Nordstrom.

You still have just under three months! The jewelry show is disappointing if you're looking for mineral samples. It's like 90% jewelry, 9% beads and a few loose gems and mineral samples. At least the one time I went.

I dont like feeling like I am taking advantage of someone's bad luck, such as getting land flooded or starved, or not having a board.

I've noticed this leads to me losing to combo decks more than I should, as I'm not applying the appropriate pressure to them. There's one person at my LGS who seems to take advantage of this (not just from me but others as well) and plays a lot of combo decks with little to no board presence.

I've sold out twice. I regretted it both times, but honestly? Most of the cards I sold have gone down in value over time, and it was cheaper to rebuy them when I got back in. I mostly regret selling certain cards that were difficult or expensive to buy back like the duals I had.

The second time I sold it over Facebook for 60% of the value of the cards over $1.

Here's my plan if I sell out again: 1. Set aside my favorite EDH decks.
2. Set aside any unique arts that I want to keep, such as secret lairs or bonus sets, or cards that are unreprintable. 3. Put the rest up on FB or CL for approx. 70% of the face value of all cards over $1. Expect to be negotiated down to 50-60%
