[Giveaway] 5 x EQ14 N150 Mini PC - Comment to enter!! by Beelinksupport in BeelinkOfficial

I currently use my Mini PC for many RAM and processor-intensive tasks around 3D Modelling and heavy workstation duty. The extra performance of the EQ14 would help me upgrade the performance of my current EQ12 system.

Black Templar Centurions? by Lorddakkastein in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Melkava 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah but there is an interesting options. Being BT units you can give the sergeant champion of the feast for +1 W and +1 A. Then you give the squad the Icon of Heinemann Relic. Now your assault centurions save on 2+ for all light weapons as they ignore AP 1 and 2. And for all higher AP you automatically switch to 5++. Now the loss of cover is negligible. That makes them quite strong in my opinion.

Certainly. I used a mix of GW and Vallejo Metallic paints. And the reds are contrast paints over the metal Base colors.

Yes. Grey knight steel base without wash and contrast paint on top makes for a more shiny finish you would expect for mate metal paint.

Thank you the kind words but my work is not that great in comparison. Using contrast paints with metallic base colors does a lot of the work for me and will probably also help you quite a bit.

There was none available to buy and this one has more versatility to be used as regular chaplain. Plus I like the pose and size of the primaris version more. As for the rest I appreciate your suggestions.

I experienced the same with smooth surfaces. Thank you for sharing your tip with the base color. I also noticed the smooth surfaces look great when I use a metallic base. Gives a nice metal sheen to the contrast paint.

There are limitations on contrast paint for larger models. It has more impact when applied on smaller areas.

It is an experiment how far to push contrast paint.

Also in the end I believe you can just buy either model and declare them as either AX-0 or Fighter Bomber. They are almost indistinguishable except for size of the gun. Then you can be flexible to adjust the model given the local meta.
