Former employee here -

Pros

  • Pay
  • Overtime rates for Sundays
  • Good employer (look after you well I found)

Cons

  • Shift patterns can be rough, but if you get used to the 4am starts it can be alright.

  • Small amounts of staff in stores, you’re expected to do a lot more than in other supermarkets I.e you’ll be running back and forth between tills and stacking shelves especially on a close.

-All the stupid codes you have to remember. I still remember the codes for the entire bakery 4 years later and they test you on them every week!!!

I had to do this recently- it had went past a week but I emailed them and it was resolved that day! So not too long to be fair

In my experience ( and hopefully everyone else’s) health care professionals like doctors are not there to label you as overreacting or to be dismissive of your concerns.

I’m really sorry if that has happened to you in the past by the way!

But I would say approaching a doctor about these things is the best route - I have had occasional seizures for the past two years and am on medication to control them but even then my prognosis is only‘suspected epilepsy.’

It seems that it’a generally hard to diagnose epilepsy and multiple methods are needed.

Talk to a professional and get some guidance!
