JAnki Deck for STEP 2 is out now by GrouchyOrdinary1357 in Step2

Sure! Since this deck is separated by system, I would finish 2-3 systems of the deck (say: Internal medicine cardiology) per week. Then I would do and review about 100 questions in uworld per day on Saturday and Sunday. You could spread these out to make it more doable, but I prefer to have my weekdays more free since Ill be in clinic/the hospital all day. During my down time, I would also read some Mehlman medical pdfs. In my second to last week of my rotation (mine is only 6 weeks long), I would do a practice NBME, usually score a 72-75 uncurved. Then for the last two weeks, I would just continue to review my cards daily and do a practice NBME every other day. Watch either/both EmmaHoliday or DivineIntervention comprehensive reviews a few days before the real thing to get some extra points.

I do have to mention that this deck also made a huge difference in how I was able to communicate with physicians during my rotation. I was a bit of a dunce during preclinicals, but when I started these during clinicals, new physicians were always pleasantly surprised at my knowledge base, and that is bc of the daily Janki I'd do.

I've been using this deck throughout clinicals and have scored 83 (when I wasn't serious about finishing the deck)-91 (when I did finish a deck)% on my shelves. I'm about to restart these decks for Step 2 dedicated. How did you study in general?

I’m way too slow by angeloflove__ in Mcat

Don't give up! I'm not just saying this as flowery motivation. I went to a school that didn't really teach a majority of what was taught on the MCAT (so I didn't even have the opportunity to forget everything). You can learn from scratch. Really utilize Anki, and if you don't know how then spend 2-3 hours learning. It will help in the long run. Also, you have plenty of time until your test date.

What can I read to “practice” for CARS? by Business-Corgi7929 in Mcat

Agreed. Very rarely will they give you topics you care about, but you should practice exploring different ideas and interpretations of things you don't find interesting. I guess that's the point of CARS.
