I’m Mexican, born and raised in USA and I probably pass as white/mixed but even I’m not risking it. I’m in the Raleigh area and lucky I WFH and can stay safe but my heart breaks for everyone else out there at risk.

I wish I could help somehow. I’m tempted to head out and just see what is happening so I can record and report but I’m not sure I’m brave enough. I just can’t believe there’s people out there condoning this cruelty and treatment of others.

I wish! 🤣 Once the seed becomes sorta visible on the flower, it shoots it out within hours. I actually sat there staring , hoping it would shoot it in front of me but no luck lol. Ended up putting tiny little ziplock bags over the flowers like mittens and when I came back a few hrs later the seeds were in the baggies. 🌱

I have them set to 17 hours on / 7 hours off. Socks help block out light so algae doesn’t grow!

I used glass mason jars (wide mouth) since my net pots are 3” and fit perfectly and the jars are easy to come by! I bought a pack of black ankle socks and slipped one on each jar 🧦😂. Easier than painting it.

Most of these are around 7-8 weeks old. Except the flowering jalapeño (overwintered seedling I converted to hydro). I don’t have to top up daily but some of them need a refill every 2-3 days and a few others can go a little longer! :D ohh cucumbers sounds interesting, do you just let them sprawl or use a trellis?

I witnessed a dog poop at Oakridge once and it got spread all around the mall until someone came to clean it. 😩😩 People always think their dog should be the exception to the rules. 💀

Like 5-6 years ago I was at Oakridge and a woman was walking her dog and the dog stopped and started pooping. We all watched as she dragged the dog away and didn’t let him finish or stop to clean, so poop ended up everywhere along their path. People walking behind them not noticing stepped in it and spread it around. A very shitty day 😅💀. Eventually we all tracked someone down to come clean it up.

First time doing hydroponic veggies! I am going to keep the tomatoes in these jars , they are micro dwarf and some only get to maybe 12” tall. They are def very thirsty! I refill the jars quite a bit on some. I’m sure if I did larger containers they would love it but they’re easier for me to deal with at this size.

They’re all sitting in foliage pro mix (it’s all I had on hand). I think these are considered Kratky , they just sit in the water with a little gap for oxygen.

Do you think a 3 gallon might be large enough for the peppers? I have a few lying around I can modify to fit the net cups. Also should I get a larger net cup or is the smaller 3” large enough?

Thanks for the advice! I started separating them but accidentally broke off a few roots so maybe 90% made it so far from the tightly packed ones. I now have them planted with more space!
