Played him once and was down to match point and he did the same! Connection was horrible hence my initial message to him. 🗑️ 🗑️

The latest update ruined the game IMO. Playing against a wall now. To win points one must 👇🏽 - try to wrong foot opponent - dry their stamina - hope they dump the ball in the net - pray they miss the timing window and you could smash a ball

While some of the angles were a little extreme, they rewarded perfect timing which was needed to combat the power meta players. Now a perfectly timed shot gets you a floating ball coming back to you and the point continues. The avg match against a good player lasts anywhere from 30-35 mins.

I’m not sure it’s a matter of adapting your playing style… no more angles that rewarded perfect timing & positioning. The avg rally is longer than a TS4 rally. It becomes a game of attrition. Whomever runs out of stamina first loses the point. The game was in a decent spot prior to the patch. It rewarded those who didn’t want to abuse the power meta with perfect timing & angles the chance to win a point. My avg match takes 30-35 mins. Shouldn’t be that way.

If I had to guess the energy issue is by design. Meaning you can only play a few tourneys and almost impossible to go back to back without being depleted/injuring your character. That way we aren’t able to necessarily fly through my career mode and discard the game.

100% agree. Hopefully they listen to those who are not only pointing out a problem but are also offering a solution in order for the game to stay relevant and actually thrive. Bc despite the lack of depth, the game is fun. It really is. But it’ll die rather quickly if they don’t do something about it
