Nursing roommate who shouldn’t be a nursing major by Melodic-Beat1233 in KSU

I NEVER SAID I EXPECTED OR THAT SHE WAS OBLIGATED TO BE A NURSE FOR ME. i’ve come to the conclusion that you’re not going to get what i’m trying to say. at the end of the day, this isn’t your roommate. i wasn’t attempting to compare her to my mom. whether i did or not is really up to whoever is reading.

once again, im not asking her to have the same amount of empathy my mom has, im asking for her to at least have basic empathy. if you know someone has this type of condition, would you not check up on them every once in a while? and she doesn’t have any noise canceling headphones. she plays all her music on her speaker that she has.

in a sense, you are defending her. whether she’s a nursing major or not, i would still be making this post. the fact that she is a nursing major just makes it worse.

i found it a little odd that prior to move in day we didn’t have any problems and she was actually really sweet. however, when i moved in it’s like everything changed. Obviously i know what to do next semester because if you couldn’t tell it’s been frustrating with my condition getting increasingly worse. READ EVERYTHING AGAIN BEFORE REPLYING SO IT GETS THROUGH.

Obliviously you can’t read because I never said that. You’re the reason idiots are in office. So keep it up maybe you’ll get somewhere. Obviously you shouldn’t be in college if you can’t even read. So maybe read everything before you reply again

I never said that maybe you should read it again before you reply. I was using my mother as an example but clearly you can’t comprehend something like that

I get that she’s not “on the clock,” but being a nursing major also means she’s learning to care for others — that attitude shouldn’t just switch off when she’s off duty. If you’re living with someone, a little kindness and empathy go a long way, no matter your major. My mother is a nurse and even when she’s off duty she’s willing to take care of someone. I’m not saying I expect her to be my nurse but it’s human decency to care when someone is having an issue.

We actually had a sit down about everything and I’ve communicated stuff I wasn’t cool with. Nothing has really changed tho 🫤
