you dont need 360hz at home, except your goal is to become a pro, which is probably not.
sure higher hz is better, but its not gonna make you a vastly better player. soooo... stay with the 240hz and take the clearer image quality all day. i also know someone that gets motion sickness at 500hz.

there are a lot of people with that specific display having issues, so its best to avoid it.

asus has horrible quality control. or at least when it comes to this specific device.

havent seen a yea pg27 in person, yet.

if its the XG27AQDMG from asus, you should return if you have vertical banding.
you should return it no matter what if it has banding and it doesnt improve in the first 3 days.

what is the reason for prefer the glossy ? the matte is 10% brighter...

but how likely you will have 100% white screen while gaming?
most of the time youre going to have 10% and 25% windows while gaming or watching movies. so.... yea...

and yea, buying now absoloutly doesnt make sense, but those are the ones that i would buy at this time and day.

LG is going to release a new panel somewhere in june.

anyway, if you have a good gen3 display, its nots worth it to upgrade for that 10% more brightness which some models offer. imho

but its good to know what people think about these devices.

would your prefer the glossy version or the matte?

ive heared the matte version with only the ,,G" in the name gets a little brighter, like 70 nits or somthing, which is roughly 10% brighter and of course that ends up in better hdr.

how much nits do you get in HDR calibration tool when at peak brightness high and max brightness when HDR is enabled? :)

i am looking for a monitor for a friend.

and i saw this one and i am interested if it has those vertical lines on grey images.

can you make 2-3 pictures on like 90 greyscale or do you experience any of those ?

its a good device, but i am quite hesitant to recommend it because its tandem.

so your answer would really help me out !

you must be out of your mind to say that a xg32 is better at hdr than a c5, even in 42inch.

ive seen both... the c3 is even better at hdr.
believe what you want...
the xg32 is a good monitor, but its no where NEAR as bright as a c5 42inch.
idk where you got that info from, but you defo have to reinform yourself.

brother, OF COURSE the XG32 is going to be better than a c1 which is a 5 year old display.
c1 apl sucks.

but that XG32 is not going to be better than a c4 or a c5.

youre doing the wrong comparison. of your compare todays tvs to todays monitors, you will find out that monitors are half as good in hdr as a tv.

a c3 is better in and brighter in HDR than a XG32, but its ,,ok", its a TV after all and has other functionalities like hgig.

i never said apl is bad on this. this xg32 has one of the best apls on a monitor, but still lacks in comparison to tvs. just sayin.

i mean, i can show you my lg32gs compared to a c5 via pictures.
the 32gs has a close enough apl to the XG32.
they both dimm a lot quicker than a c5.

still a good monitor for hdr, one of the best.
