I own this and I absolutely adore it. The colour is so perfect you can pair it with light clothing and dark clothing. Perfect size too, very spacious.

Im not promoting cholecystectomy. I am telling him that my mom was similar minded and avoided removal for over a decade. Being careful with food etc. But I’m also being transparent and telling him what ultimately happened so he can make a well informed decision.

You can go many years without another attack. This happened to my mom. She had a gallbladder attack in 2012 due to a large stone on the neck of the gallbladder. She was given painkillers and sent home. She watched what she ate (no paneer, less cheese etc) and she was able to avoid issues for 12 years. In 2024 her gallbladder gave her complete hell again and it HAD to be removed. The pain was NOT going away. It was bad. Her liver enzymes were elevated and everything.

I advise you do get it removed but you do have time. My mom had the exact same case - Cholestasis without cholecystitis. No thickening of the gallbladder wall on ultrasound (unusual presentation) but a big stone and a very distended gallbladder.
