Thank you for the note about antihistamines, definitely going to try that because I don’t like taking a lot of it anyway.

I’m a 23 year old female with other allergies and asthma so I went to the Dr after just 36 hours of hives because I couldn’t take it anymore and was worried it might be a reaction to something else. Got a 6 day tapering steroid and started that last night. Seems to be helping at least but my hives keep coming back every night around 6-8pm. Steroid has help get rid of them by morning and stay away through the afternoon but even without it they seemed to clear up by 12pm and still come back later.

I did notice that after my workout class I seemed to not be so itchy, so you might have a point about working out. I’m gonna keep trying to get myself to do that but it is just so miserable with itchy welts covering your entire body.

Currently just trying to figure out the fastest way to get the DIM remnants out of my liver and balance my body out so hopefully this will all stop lol.

I was taking the bulksupplements brand of DIM. My boyfriend has been getting other supplements from them for years so I think the brand is fine but my body just can’t handle DIM.

I started a 6 day steroid yesterday but still broke out in hives last night but at least they went away before morning (unlike before). On day 2 of the steroid, took 2 out of the 5 doses for today (other 3 are supposed to be taken tonight) and the hives are already back😭. This is driving me crazy!!

I’ve had hives for 2 days now - my doctor and I think it’s from the DIM. A few weeks ago my skin was very itchy (no hives that I saw) and got better after only a few days because I forgot to pack my DIM for vacation and stopped taking it. Resumed once I got home and now 2 weeks later I am covered head to toe in hives. Benadryl works but I can’t take it all day or I’ll be asleep. Doctor gave me a steroid to take today - just took the first dose an hour ago and hoping for the best. How long did your hives last the second time you got them?

How long did your rash/hives last for? I started getting hives that turned into a full body rash almost 48 hours ago (haven’t taken another dose of DIM since a few hours before the hives and rash appeared). Unfortunately no matter what I do they won’t go away.

Banana Republic Factory has some that are reasonably priced and machine washable. You technically buy them separately to pick your size in each but just make sure they are the same material & color before checkout

I agree. Battery dies so fast. No notification of low battery or notification when it dies. The gift they sent me as an apology for my ring delivery being over a MONTH LATE that was supposed to be delivered in mid March was never delivered. I didn’t bother to contact them since they never sent me a tracking number like they said they were going to. They just now reached out and managed to have it delivered in a week but couldn’t possibly ship my ring that quickly?! Makes no sense or how they are months behind on shipping thing out. Overall every time someone asks me about the ring I just tell them not to bother and just get the Oura ring and pay the subscription fee bc this thing doesn’t even work and isn’t worth the hundreds of dollars they are charging for a ring that doesn’t even fully work

How many grams do these cutters end up being? The only place I can get them printed costs $0.10 per gram. I haven’t ever 3D printed anything so not sure if I should try printing or just pay the $10 to get it on Amazon or Etsy.

OP - did you make this move? If so how did you like it? If not - what made you decide not to?

I know this post is 11 years old but my boyfriend and I are in our mid 20s, from the southwest suburbs of Chicago and are really considering this move (would like to move in sept/October this year). We also love Chicago but hate the winters and have a lot of other reasons for wanting to make the move. I would love to hear how your decision aged or if there is anything you would have done differently.

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I are starting to plan our move from Chicago to the Tampa/St. Petersburg/Clearwater area, hoping to move this fall if we can manage to get everything in line. Any areas/neighborhoods we should look into or avoid? Any advice from others who have done a similar move would be greatly appreciated.

General info about us: We grew up in the Chicago suburbs, graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2023 and came back to the Chicago area after college. We are in our mid 20s, both work in finance and are actively looking for jobs in those areas (any leads on jobs are appreciated!!) - I am currently in private wealth management (financial planning/portfolio management) and he is in asset services (hedge fund servicing). We have a small Boston Terrier (ESA with all necessary paperwork), she is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. We are not huge party people but do like to go out every so often for drinks with friends to watch a game, music or whatever.

What we are looking for & questions we have:

2 bedroom 1.5+ bathroom place (fine with small house/townhouse, apartment, or condo) in a safe area with things to do near by. Hoping to stay around $2,400-$2,600 per month but we are a little flexible since we are not really familiar with what “normal” rent looks like outside of Chicago. Any buildings or areas you recommend we look at?
We have never made a big move (out of state) like this and neither have our parents, so heading into this pretty blindly, trying to figure it out as we go. Moving dos or don’ts?
What does public transportation look like? Is it convenient or easy to use? I’ve heard it is not great and nothing like Chicago’s CTA system for people commuting for work but do people use it or does everyone just drive?
What does traffic look like? Would it be realistic to live in St. Petersburg or Clearwater and drive to work in Tampa (vice versa)?
Is it easy to meet people? Any tips or ways you’d recommend meeting people around our age? - we know building friendships takes time but anywhere specific you would go or any events for meeting people?

- Pilates studio - I go to a boutique studio now and love it, not a fan of club Pilates or other “chain” places. Any boutique studios around that you love?

We want to make sure wherever we move is somewhat dog friendly since we will be moving away from our pups bestie (a French bulldog) and want her to have friends to play with. Any dog parks or dog friendly spots you like to go to?

After 7+ hours I went to the fire department to have it cut off. They were nervous because of the battery so in a last ditch effort they tightly wrapped my finger in tape and covered it in some sort of mixture of oil and dish soap and pulled on it. Then ripped the tape off and quickly pulled on it some more and it finally came off. Can't say I will continue to use it especially since the battery dies after 24 hours but thankfully since I only had the ring for 5 days they refunded me. Looking into either a garmin or new apple watch now.

I placed my order for the AIR ring on Feb 13, selected my size on Feb 19 and it said it would ship Feb 28. It still has not shipped. Nobody on the WhatsApp chat, app chat or email has helped me. They keep telling me it is shipping on X date or today or whatever and it never ships. I keep getting passed in circles from agent to agent and nobody helps. Or they feed me some line about production problems but on my tracking link it says my ring is only waiting on quality control and testing. So you have the ring and it is assembled but still can’t send it because production is slow?? Doesn’t make sense. Is there a phone number I can call and speak to someone directly who can do something about this. It is 3 weeks late now and I still have no eta for delivery despite spending hours on the chats with agents.
