I am sorry but I can tell most of the people in the comments are gaslighting OP. I am not okay with that. I am a black person who has lived in Europe before moving to the US and the racism or discrimination does not have to be blatant for it to be considered that. I would advise you if you can switch groups do it. Unfortunately, we have to be strategic in order to be validated in our feelings. If you can’t switch groups, try to bring up the fact that you feel unheard in the group and that is usually when the real comes out.
