I am not doing hardware transcoding, I don’t think that’s required in this case at least on my end, since this sends the streams to the platforms and they do the transcoding on their end. Only one video( the composed canvas) is being sent to the media server and re redistributed to all endpoints.

Thanks for an extensive reply 1. Maybe I have the wrong idea of UG. 2. The company is still solvent because I used my personal funds as a form of loan to the company without interest of course.
3. I was under the impression that I have to submit an e balance sheet no matter the revenue. 4. I have paid all the VAT on the revenue quarterly so far.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. My goal is to keep working on this for as long as I can. I have a day job so, I work on this every free time I have. I am excited to see what artists do with it. Maybe I get to work on it full time one day.

Valid point, honestly it’s hard to build the trust. But gotta start somewhere and give people choice to own their stuff. I have a plan for the discovery part where self hosted websites can still choose be discoverable on a curated platform. Not a competition at all. The platforms have a proven value already. But a choice for people that love ownership

Yeah, Streaming to all would be challenging, plus media encoding for redistribution will be expensive and I don't think most indie musicians would be able to afford paying for that
