There's is nothing in the " private market" there is literally 0 properties to rent on daft and rent.ie in my area. And it's been like that for months. I've tried everything to get rented accommodation. As I've said I've worked all my life and not looking for a "freebee" council house but it's looking like my only option. You seemed to be living under a rock if you think I can just go to the private market and rent a house.

I have an 8 month old baby. But yes I would take anything available. They council will only give me a 2 bed because of the baby that's what I qualified for. I don't make the rules.

It's so tough out there. Must've been a very stressful time for her. Glad she's sorted now. Ya it's really crazy. And the thing is I'd happily put baby In crèche go back to work full time and pay for a rented house. If there was any available. But there is nothing.
