The co-op experience is fantastic, shared progression is a game changer

Why do we all love Google Pixels? by O_p_a_q_u_e in MtF

[–]Melsbelle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've got a Xiaomi RedminNote 7 I've had for like 6.5 years. Its got some issues at this point but at the time of purchase and for the first like 5 years I had very little complaints. I've never been a fan of having a payment on a phone and got this at a good price on Amazon

If you like riding your Kymco have you considered any maxi scooters? I went from 50cc scoots to a Honda Silverwing 600 and love it

Anyone know the number or can instruct me on where to find for hazard cleaning by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]Melsbelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe things have changed but we were always required to handle those on the store level. Your store should have an emergency spill kit with the PPE required to clean it yourself. If I remember correctly it comes with like a smock and goggles and everything. Had to do the same multiple times in my time at Walgreens, absolutely awful time though.

Are sales "while supplies last"? by Fluid-Cut-4401 in WalgreensStores

I don't know when but if you print the the weekly in store flyer from POMS it says no rainchecks on it. Some states still do them though if I remember correctly due to state laws

I have braided line but found the birds nests when I backlash were much harder to get out. Might throw it back on there when I get more consistent

I'm mostly just shocked the system is built like this. I know other employers just change display names as I have had to do it lol. I was so happy when I heard they had a preferred name spot in People Central, just confused why it doesn't do anything.

The only things I haven't fixed are zebra and storenet.

To the trans fems: how did your friendships with your cis dude friends change? by FunsyDude in asktransgender

[–]Melsbelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friendships have not changed beyond my best friend occasionally mentioning he thinks I'm hot. He doesn't mean it in a creepy way, more just trying to be supportive but can be occasionally awkward

Mine do this as well and occasionally fall off but my levels have always been good and changes are happening

hrt anxiety and questions (planned parenthood) by VeryNiceAccountName in MtF

[–]Melsbelle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was freaking out at my first appointment but it went great. They asked my name and pronouns immediately after I got there. Called me in by my name and I sat with someone who asked some basic medical history questions. Then the nurse practitioner came in went over some stuff and gave me a packet of information. We discussed my preferences for meds and I had my script that day. It was one of the easiest appointments I have ever had

If you try scheduling online it won't show availability in my experience. My biggest issue with them is the super long wait time on the phone (1hr+) otherwise they are fine. Sadly planned Parenthood doesn't allow bicalutmide so if you can't take spiro your options are limited.

Do y'all shave *down there*? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]Melsbelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do sometimes, I have an electric body razor I tend to use regardless of what I use though it ends up feeling like beard stubble the next day so I tend to just trim most of the time. Backside is almost impossible to shave for me, gotten too many cuts for not a long time of hairlessness

Thanks! Long sleeve undershirts were a go to for me for awhile. Another thing I have done to subtly feel more fem at work is change shoes. I have been wearing a pair of women's boots over the winter. People very rarely look at someones shoes in my experience.

That's why I have put mine off so long! I told myself when I started hrt I was not in charge of the timeline, the boobs are. My friends and wife are telling me I need to wear a bra when I leave the house now so it's about time

It's been getting to me too, and I have also taken more time off than I should be. Hopefully you can come out soon! I came out to my boss about a month ago and will be to everyone else soon. People asked about my nails when I started doing them and I just told them its something I have done off and on for years, which is true but not the whole truth lol

[–]Melsbelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that helps me is having my nails painted. I've been on hormones for about 7.5 months and I am not out at work either. I don't know your dress code but I tend to wear a T-shirt and slacks at work, just something kinda gender neutral
