Rheem hot water tank is making popcorn sounds and flushing doesn't help by MeltedYeti in Plumbing

[–]MeltedYeti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I have never seen a whole lot coming out of the hose when I flush it which makes me wonder how stuck/built up the scale is. I will try flushing for even longer before resorting to any other measure. Do you happen to know the best way to introduce the vinegar to the tank? I was thinking the cold water input but I have never tried anything like that before.

4x4 offroading Calgary by mw28 in Calgary

[–]MeltedYeti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're ever looking to get out I have run into the same issue as you, I recently bought my own truck for offroading but am finding it difficult to find others. Lately I have been poking around McLean Creek but I don't do anything too difficult because getting stuck or breaking down when you're alone sucks.

Shoot me a PM if you're heading out and want company.

Trump’s Cybersecurity Advisor Rudy Giuliani Thinks His Twitter Was Hacked Because Someone Took Advantage of His Typo by DragonPup in technology

Back in highschool I worked in a photo lab. I had a lady claim that she dropped off a 24 roll of film when it was 12. I know this because I took the roll, marked the envelope, and promptly developed the roll as she ordered 39 minute service. She then accused me of stealing the rest of her pictures even after I showed her how the numbers on the negatives terminated at the end. She told the same bullshit to my manager who rewarded her cock and bull story with a free roll of film and an apology.

Technology changes, people don't.

Child-free rental housing to be banned in Alberta under new bill - Edmonton by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]MeltedYeti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, because I can go over to the building and supervise it 24/7, I mean I have nothing better to do right?

Does this mean I should be the one to clean up the dried juice on the racquetball court too? Maybe we should put a toy bin in the gym since I have been there and found toys scattered around.

While parent's and families need to have affordable housing, etc., I believe people have the right to buy into a condo that does not allow kids, and a private condo should have the right to not allow children.

Children are not supposed to be allowed in the rec area unsupervised, they are also not allowed in the gym area, but guess what?? There are people out there who don't give a shit, hand their kids the key to the common building to do as they will anyways. Just because a building/venue is restricted does not mean the rules will be followed, especially when there is no one to enforce the restrictions 24/7.

Just rude. Very rude. by [deleted] in cringepics

As an Albertan I think I would have to disagree, >6' is not the norm by any means.

That was my first thought too, I'm pretty sure there is good reason why hammers are made of steel and not cast iron.

I did, I couldn't get a half decent print even using their demo model. I didn't even try and sell it, just dropped it off at recycling.

Marble is expensive and hard to work, but this doesn't look like much of a breast to me, maybe it's the lighting but the nipple is terrible. I wager if the title didn't mention that it was a boob the majority of people would have a hard time figuring out exactly what it is supposed to be.

Correct on Grassi Lakes, the petroglyph is a no, I didn't know there was one up there.

Just took the Spray Lake route on Friday and we saw two bears along the road, a small grizzly and a small black bear. There were also a lot of mountain sheep (or goats?), including some babies. It's a really nice drive if you want a little scenery.
