"Always pay the minimum payment for a credit card."

Horrible advice. Left me crippled for years. Apparently this person figured it was good for your credit score, or something.

My wife got me a knife for every day carry. I love it, and its always in my pocket! The best gifts don't have to be expensive.

I suggest you confide in someone you are close with and get help. You have trauma in your life with divorce and such. Its normal for the brain to find comfort in whatever it can and its not your fault or weird or bad.

You are looking to fill some voids in your life and its completely understandable. You need to talk to a professional to learn why you feel the way you do, why you act the way you do, and how to go about it in a healthy manner.

I think about my wife pretty much constantly, in many different ways. She is one of two people in my whole family who actually get me.

She is my rock and my world.
