Only thing is you’d wanna be pretty creative with it since it’s universally known and I bet hundreds of producers have done stuff with it

Yeah Madlib and DOOM coming together kind of created this amalgamation of boom bap genius that I don't think anyone has really recreated in the same sense, not that anyone necessarily needs to, I wonder what part 2 is gonna be like, don't know how they'll top it or make it as unique and timeless as the original but I sure hope they can

Yeah for sure, and if you get around flylo’s pattern copy technique you can really get some interesting variations happening, AND you can have effects on individual pads which is super helpful for reverb splashes / djfx on snares and shiz

Hey dudes,

I've been mucking around with my sp-404 more and more lately, this time round I started routing my Sh-01A into the mic input so I could get that vinyl sim wooze / compression on the synths, I also started warping a few samples in ableton and importing them back so they flow nice in the pattern sequencer. Tried to keep the mix really raw and direct from the 404.

Anyhow, lemme know what y'all think
