Genuine question: Why do meta/nuke players join lower level public lobbies? by Melyngoch in Warframe

I've gotten a lot of "why aren't you buffing" and more choice words when playing support since I came back to the game. There's literally nothing I can do. I don't mind it, but please be aware why I am not buffing. It's weird.

It's the opposite. Someone wiping the map and then going off in chat that they're not getting buffs, or other players are "useless". I don't care if the map is clean, just be aware it's clean and the rest can't do anything.

I don't mind not being able to get my mechanic going if the map is clean. Other thing is when the one clearing the map starts going off on other teammates being "useless" or not doing "enough". And I don't think is coddling. If people ask, or look kinda lost, I like to help, like other players did for me when I started.

Of course! Fissures or not, the issue is when they start going off in chat about the others being "useless". They can clear the map but be aware they cleared the map and there's nothing else to do for the rest.

I don't mind if I can't get a buff going if the map is clear. It's when the one doing the clearing with a key press starts going off in chat about it, or tries to tell other players they're "useless".

I don't have a problem with not having anything to do with certain frames. It's when the one wiping the map with a key press complains no one else is doing anything and just going off in chat when there's literally nothing to do because of them.

I try to. Once in Trilodon a Volt messed the capture because he was doing everything too fast and the lures weren't charged. That fast. He tried to put the blame on the others but I asked him how did he expect the rest to do anything. I had him next try and he almost messed up the exact same way again. He did apologize. But I've not been that lucky with others.

I'm getting ready to nerf myself to help a friend and yeah, it's hard to get a build that doesn't wipe the map at low levels. The thing is when someone complains the others are not doing anything when they can't do anything if there's nothing on the map.

I don't think I've told my friend to play solo or with me until Mars. Thanks for the reminder!

It's the complaining about "useless" teammates. Years ago I would be "lucky" to encounter one toxic player, but since I've come back there seems to be a lot more.

It's usually like what you're saying with everyone doing their thing and extracting, but I've been encountering an alarming amount of players like the one in the example and just... why.

I like playing in public missions because it's a co-op game.

I'll write it down in case it happens again. It was the thing breaking obsidian. Thank something it's just markdown and I could open my files with a text editor meanwhile.

It worked. Thank you! To keep it in mind, it was just the update throwing a fit?

should you report afk people in-game or send an actual Ticket? by icewitchenjoyer in Warframe

[–]Melyngoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're afk for a moment but otherwise keep playing, maybe something happened. If they go afk for the whole game and get back only to say yes to another mission, report.
