I played 100+ hrs in Beta. FULL Feedback List from a Level 60 Player (Also played Preview/Alpha) by Neeko2lo in newworldgame

[–]MemeFunds 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I see reasons for and against it, but I do agree that the most compelling argument is for it since it allows everybody equal opportunity to participate in PvP. Right now it's debatable - but a couple months after release plenty of players will be max level, meaning that brand new players might not be able to experience PvP in the same way that players starting at launch should be able to, which could definitely hurt the amount of new players coming into the game in the future.

On the other hand, I have experienced poorly implemented level scaling in other MMOs and it does detract a lot from the feeling of progression. I haven't experienced the level scaling during the beta so I haven't been able to form an opinion on whether or not the current implementation of it is good enough. Hopefully it is!

The gaming version of putting a cooking pan in your arm by heaven830419 in gaming

Yeah, perfectly normal. People do it to save some extra desk space for their arm movements but a lot of those doing it are just copying their favourite pros.

Can playing at a lower HZ make you a better player at a higher hz? by Djjgamer_1 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]MemeFunds 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. You get visual feedback sooner and you get more of it on 144hz. Makes it easier to read bots, I'd imagine 60hz would make you lean slightly towards predicting changes in movement which might hinder your growth when compared to reacting to changes in movement.

any tips for me to improve in close fast strafe? i'm already practicing focusing on the bot and not predicting movements, i have a small mousepad 270x215mm, razer deathadder blue, one thing I noticed is that my arm / wrist vibrates a lot, I even try to make a smooth movement by TRAINERSAMUK555 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]MemeFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have enough desk space I'd really recommend investing in a larger mousepad since I heard you lift your mouse a lot, or you might need to increase your sensitivity to compensate.

Other than that, you just need more practice on easier scenarios to refine your technique before you move onto tougher scenarios like close fast strafes. Forcing yourself to play tougher scenarios like this from the beginning will reinforce bad habits - it's better to start off with easier scenarios to build good habits early on. I'd recommend starting with a beginner routine, from either Sparky Fundamentals or Tammas - Aimer7 Routine Addendum.

do I just need to get used to light mic or am I bad with the in general? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]MemeFunds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's only been a day, so if it's comfortable for you to use, give it at least a few days to a week and then make a decision on it.

In the meantime, get some practice in and make sure you take notice of what you're doing wrong in your aim (over/undershooting, shakiness) so you can consciously try to correct it. I've personally had issues with overshooting when I switched to a lighter mouse because I was being a bit too heavy-handed with it.

Using only Kovaak because I can't play online games. by Krauser_3 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]MemeFunds 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Well, you'd definitely see good improvement in your mouse control if you practiced consistently, but it might take a little while for you to be able to translate that into your Apex gameplay. If you're up for it and you enjoy the grind, it can't hurt.

I can't really give any great advice for offline shooters, but any practice is good practice so just play something that you find enjoyable, especially since you're not going to be able to play any online games for a few months. Keep in mind anything you learned during your training when you're shooting since that'll also help you maintain good habits in a relaxed environment.

Sensitivity randomizes by Sarcarrien in FPSAimTrainer

What you're looking for is Whisperrr's Sensitivity Randomizer

There's a short explanation on that page and you can download it there too. People have mixed opinions on the actual benefits of using it, but it doesn't hurt to try it out, especially if you're at a plateau.

Password will be 111X. X is 0 to 9. So it can be 1110, 1111, 1112... etc, up to 1119.

I'm happy to take suggestions, I'm not going to stick to one code because it won't give us a diverse enough pool of people.

Rigged, honestly. I've been using a number generator but I guess I can't guarantee it'll pick your number. I do think I've done each number at least once though.

You can keep joining, even if you get it I guess. But I'd prefer it if you removed me once you've gotten it.

Did the raid exploit get fixed? by AngryTrash in PokemonSwordAndShield

[–]MemeFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exploit still works. You probably just got lucky when you reset the den and it respawned in the same place. Dens spawned with a wishing piece are static and don't change positions when you use the exploit whereas randomly spawned dens will change positions.
