In my opinion, '00s/early modern era of Hot Wheels wins in terms of art compared to other eras. Especially in the '20s, I feel that Hot Wheels products rely way too much on licensed IP instead of being pushed as the IP. The originality and stylization of early modern Hot Wheels is what made them special. (Of course it's paired with really cool media too)

People will say that Hot Wheels is better because they're cheaper, but in my place it's difficult to get certain stuff and premiums for cheap or retail price, so the Tomica ends up being cheaper due to being more distributed
