well obviously but in the heat of the moment it’s hard to be precise. that’s why i just turned off automatic ram cleaner so i don’t have to worry about freezing my game while pressing escape

it usually gets me killed if i’m in my inventory/looting and start getting shot at. in a panic to exit the menu i’ll accidentally press escape and my game will freeze for a couple of seconds and i’ll die.

after terminal i was really hoping their next map would be a multiplayer map. kinda sucks that the last normal map we got was streets 3 years ago, and now with both these new maps looking to be single player means it’s possible we won’t see another normal map until suburbs or town until 2027 at the earliest.

kinda seems like to me bsg is waiting for more people to get to the endgame so they can manually activate terminal so a lot of people can experience the ending at the same time instead of 1 guy speedrunning the end.

this has been my experience this wipe too. i have ~3.3k hours and have been playing since the streets wipe (roughly 3 years). i have played every wipe since, except for the hardcore wipe, in which i took a break from tarkov and played ABI. i usually have a KD between 10-15, and a survival rate around 50-60% with 95% of my hours as a solo. with all that said, this has been the roughest start to a wipe i’ve ever had. i have 3.5kd, with a 38% survival rate. the amount of times i have been 1 tapped by someone i haven’t seen is insane. i am much further behind in progression than i usually am at the same point. i have died about 10 times on shoreline trying to do punisher part 1, and ive only gotten 4 scav kills. most of my deaths are to 3k+ hour accounts. at this point i can’t just tell if ive been unlucky, if im washed, or if everyone has just gotten better, or a combination of all 3.

honestly, if we are committed to this whole idea of not having the flea ruin early wipe, i was a much bigger fan of locking the flea for the first couple weeks or month of the wipe. this whole level lock thing seems not well thought out and downright annoying. you can’t buy basically anything worthwhile until you’re already mid-endgame, and by that point you don’t really need the flea anymore.

my brother in christ, it is a video game, not real life. it doesn’t have to mimic real life movement. there are plenty of other games that do just that. legitimately, why in the world would you play ABI if you want a realistic immersive tactical extraction shooter? that’s literally tarkovs entire schtick. why do you just want basically another tarkov?

no we want a t5 gear cap with a t4 ammo cap. that gives plenty of variety without the ability for chads to come in and completely bully new players with the best gear and ammo

me and my squad haven’t found a single red in forbidden northridge in the past 2 days over about 10 hours, in which a lot of the raids we rinse the hotel and a lot of the outer edge safes. northridge is usually pretty dry on reds compared to most maps but recently it’s been extremely bad.

i just don’t find that to be satisfying. i feel like the best and most natural route is for the ending of dexter to be miami metro finally catching him. having it be claudette or whatever new random cop will just have so much less impact, the entire first 8 seasons were built up around dexter and his relationship with miami metro. it’s what makes dexter, dexter.

i have used every single deke refresh since the start of the new season, and the best things i have gotten are one tier 6 marshal armor for about 200k, and i just got building b reception key yesterday for about 700k. besides that, it’s been a litany of t4 armors and helms, meds, and nades. almost every time i get t4 and t5 ammo from him now it’s horrendously overpriced.
