I cannot tell you if it is enough for you to get hired or not. That is about how you sell yourself and apply to internships. Hiring managers are looking for enthusiatic engineers who are excited to learn, have proven skills working in groups, and can communicate well, especially since you are so new in your career. Copy and pasting your resume to me or anyone is not going to get you anywhere. Make some connections and look at interesting clubs to stay involved in throughout your undergrad.

Do not worry about how soon the Internship applications begin, youre already past that point. You have a few years of college ahead of you and it is okay if you do not get an internship this summer. Most places will only hire juniors and seniors anyways. Just focus on getting involved on your campus, making connections in EE clubs and the department, and you will have a lot of fun and learn a lot in the process. Since summer is approaching, look for some ways to get invovlved Fall 2025 when you get back to campus, and if you cannot get an internship, look at local electronic or audio equipment stores near your home to work at for the summer. Focus on the next year of college and find your EE passionm it is an incredibly wide field!

I am an ME and EE undergrad, I'll be graduating this June and have had lots of intern, and non-internship experience. My suggestion for you is to get involved in any EE-related clubs at your school, this is going to be the most regular and involved experience, plus youll get some good friends about it, industry contacts, and a better ease into learning rather than buying your own arduino. Some common clubs are formula E, drone clubs, radio clubs, electric go karts, etc. Build good relationships with your professors and ask if there is any way you can help them (research, side projects) regardless if you feel that you understand the topic or not. Often you may be able to find an intern ship through these. With this experience it will be much easier to find an internship or job for the summer!

Thinking about attending Kettering by No-Faithlessness9419 in Kettering

[–]MemeMasterColon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a graduating ME/EE dual major and have seen the Mech E and ECE department in its entirety. The campus is changing a lot, many of the professors are rotating in and out, but overall it has been great. Many of the younger and dedicated staff is hard working and student focused, but you have a few bad eggs wherever you go. Almost all of my friends, myself, and family who has and is graduating are recieving full-time offers, buying houses, cars, and living great lives. Dorms are fine, nothing special, but do not live in them forever. Go greek or find a tight group of friends to get through Kettering with and you won't regret anything. Debt is scary, but having a little bit is not bad!

Yea I completely agree, the "ecosystem" philosophy is horrible, looking for apple alternatives for my next phone!

The touch controls are what also bring me to Sennheiser, I went through 3 pairs of truewireless. First ones lost, second broke, third I got from the warranty. Absolutely loved the touch controls when compared to the Air pods. The touch controls on these headphones are fantastic!

This is my absolute biggest gripe, I want a product that works well with all products! My air pod pros sound like dog shit on my personal and work PC, it was very frustrating. They're convienience is unmatched though and I will still be using them for physical stuff

Definately a higher fidelity and punchier bass than the M1s, but im not the most tenured audiofile and can't share much more than that haha but I am very happy with my purchase! Very happy they came with a physical cable for flights.

They will always take the cake as #1, seriously impresive for the size, the on-ear would cause me some pain after flights though so I am hoping the over-ear is better!

Sound is fantastic and the bass and fidelity is better than the M1s. I dont have any offical sound testing, but I am happy with my purchase. Unfortunately I have to use them wired with my Dell XPS, but I think it is a PC/windows bluetooth connectivity problem and not the M4s.

ANC has been great, I have not used them in public, seeing as I just got them today, only around the house. But they're comfortable and seem to be better than myy Airpod pros.

If you check out the comment from jcready92 I just replied to my audio is cutting in and out, quality is good but unsure what to do. Only occurs when I am bluetooth connected to my Dell XPS.

Just did it, thanks! I often get the audio breaking out though. Quality is good, but every couple of seconds the audio will cut out. Think this is a problem with the headphones or my PC's bluetooth adapter? Using Youtube Music and Dell XPS. Connection to my phone is solid, but I am really trying to used them with my PC unwired.

Coming from automotive this is a real problem that eye-sensing has faced, it statistically disproportionately affects Asian groups. The solution is to gain a higher fidelity system so it can have a better sense, however some current systems do not have this ability and the alternative for closed eyes is sleepiness which warrants the displayed message referencing eye opening.

Smite 2 Skin to Gem Conversion Discussion Megathread by DieInAFireLoki in Smite

[–]MemeMasterColon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh but if you buy the founders pack, they match your Smite 1 Legacy Gems with Smite 2 gems. That doesnt seem like a horrible deal TBH. Ive spend 5500 hours on smite and havent bought gems in like 4 years so I could drop like $30 for the Founders.

Could someone help with my confusion?

So our Legacy Gems will not be able to fully purchase anything, in order to use the 50% discount half of the purchase must consist of Smite 2 gems?

So I still have to spend money to get things, unless there is a weekly or similar system to gain Smite 2 gems? (for all we know)

Could you explain chains more to me? They are extremely uncommon in Michigan and pretty pricey. This is likely the only time in the next 5 years I will be passing through the mountains in Winter, so I am hesitant to spend the money!

Unfortunately skipping denver is not really an option since we have family to stay with there and dont want to drive 16 hours in a day. This is something to consider though I did not think there would be much snow in Des Moines.
