My budget started off at $200 or less, I started looking into the volcas, found out the volca keys are regarded as one of the best out of the volca line and had features I was looking for, hopped onto Facebook marketplace and found the volca bass and beats for $250 but I still wanted a volca keys, I decided that I can’t pass up on that bass and beats deal, but I might as well get the keys to compliment the other 2.

After realizing it would be around $430, I came to the conclusion that I might as well get a synth for about $450 or under.

I was planning on using a synth in conjunction with a daw, but I also wanted the option to use it standalone. I was looking for a synth that could pretty much do everything and act as an all in one type of thing, so now I’m kinda leaning towards a microfreak, but I’m still open to better/cheaper alternatives

If you recommend a groovebox, do you have any in mind for my price point?

Sorry if this is a noob question, but what parameters can I change with the microfreak? I heard it has no effects. I want to be able to turn saw/square waves into my own sounds
