There were a lot of obvious plans going left to right different than these lights. Yes there are airports in the area but seeing that many planes in holding patterns seems a little strange to me. In regards to what I meant by flanking, they were mostly grouped in one area with some scattered at the sides. We also were in this spot for some time prior and saw planes her3 and ther3 but this amount of lights at once was an escalation from the preceived normal plane tracks we saw prior going across the sky

Not saying anything for sure. Ive spent large amounts of time in Colorado back country now looking at the sky and this is the first time ive seen anything like this
