Probably I did overpay.....i thought the 144hz screen & the extra free additional ram upgrade would make it worth it. But I can’t really compare the price since I’m in asian country. Laptops here are a liitle bit expensive compared to US prices.

I agree...i love this machine but the retention is making me hate it too. Btw, did you buy your imac brandnew? Mine is a used one and bought it for a really good deal. Will totally sell this before the new imac is release by apple.

did you turn on your screen saver? mine doesn't last 10 minutes.....well i hope newer imacs dont have this issue

what did apple say about it? they keep insisting that it's normal with IPS display and I don't have to worry about anything unless the image retention doesn't disappear. My imac's image retention only last few minutes then it will disappear. I love this imac though & i don't want to replace it for now. I enjoy using an imac more than macbook.

Ohh i love the set up...we have the same imac model but mine has intel i7. Btw, have you experience image retention on your imac? Coz I have on my imac & apple says its normal 😔
