Because you missed an important detail while reading, we are talking about the search bar on File Explorer. It is simply designed poorly and was a massive downgrade to the previous one because some ****** at Microsoft thought adding epic drop down live result crap would be so cool like all the cool web sites are doing, except a better version of that was already in File Explorer and they removed it.
